Dear Phil,

After our first six months of using the Aztek Digital PhotoLab software in production, I am writing you to say THANKS! I truly appreciate the impact and assistance that you and the Aztek Digital PhotoLab 8000 scan system have made here at Colorchrome Atlanta, resolving our film scan to print requirements. We have owned many other scanners in the past including Scitex Eversmart Pro, Howtek ScanMaster, Umax Powerlook and others. None of these could produce the necessary large format noise free scanning, color accuracy, image resolution or easy to use throughput needed. Yet the Aztek Digital PhotoLab has hit the mark on all of these production demands, and even does an outstanding job on negative film scans to ultra large format photo prints.

One of the many clear examples of the impact of the Aztek Digital PhotoLab at Colorchrome Atlanta was even experienced immediately at time of installation. We had accepted a job to produce 40 to 50 very large photomurals for a major auto manufacturer. These prints ranged in size from 12 x 18 feet up to 12 x 48 feet. We needed extremely high quality scans to send to our Durst Lambda 130 imaging device. On the second day of installation I asked you to do a max optical scan of a 35mm slide. We imaged that test on the Durst Lambda at a size of 12 x 26 feet. I used that test to have our client sign off on the quality so that we could proceed with the job. When we completed the job the client had nothing but praise for the quality of the finished prints. This kind of demanding image quality work and the speed of throughput benefits have now in the last six months had the Aztek Digital PhotoLab pay for itself over and over again.
