DC 2001 Scanner Drum Cleaner Scanner Drum Cleaner with anti-static properties
The Product: DC is a 100 % alcohol-free substance, formulated exclusively for the purpose of cleaning acrylic scanner drums. DC cleans the drum immediately from all residues, e.g. oil, PVR, SC, SXL, mounting tape residue and dirt. DC is a petroleum based product, non toxic, non carcinogenic, however, flammable - very economical in application. Compliance to OSHA Standards, EPA approved.
The Application: Apply a few drops to a lint and scratch-free wiper and wipe over the drum lightly - possibly repeat a few times. Leave the drum slightly moist, DC will evaporate within two minutes. Polishing the drum will offset the anti-static effect. Useful Hints: Do not finish off by buffing or polishing with dry or nearly dry wiper. This is especially true when cleaning the inside of a large diameter drum. Under conditions with low humidity, this could result in a momentary flash fire.
