SMT 2001 / Scan-Mounting Tape
The Product: A Graphic Arts Scanner Mounting Tape, especially formulated for wet-mounting to drum; using petroleum based liquids. The adhesive of this tape will not dissolve when in contact with KAMI SMF Scanner Mounting Fluid.  Pre-mounting several days ahead is no problem. This tape is residue free on glass or acrylic surfaces.
The Application: Use as any conventional tape, pull tight and press on to drum. Make sure, mounting is sealed completely all-around. Pre-mounting, up to two days ahead is no problem. Removing tape, adhesive will stay on the tape, hence drum cleaning will be easy. Try our DC Drum Cleaner. Useful Hints: Using our SC Scan Fluid or SXL Scanning Mounting Fluid for wet-mounting, please apply very little of these substances. Too much is detrimental. However, if you did, just wipe off excess liquid with highly absorbent wipe and apply tape. It works very well. This is impossible to do using oil. Use our lint-free wipers.
